Update – Singapore Red Cross will send first tranche of relief items
to survivors of Myanmar’s Cyclone Nargis tomorrow


Donations to the Red Cross Myanmar Cyclone Disaster Appeal

To date, the SRC has received a total of S$1,136,000 through cash and cheque donations. The money received will be used exclusively for the Myanmar Cyclone Disaster. As the needs are still great, the SRC will continue to raise funds until its permit for the public appeal expires on 16 June.

1) Walk-in cash/cheque donations

Singapore Red Cross, 15 Penang Lane, Singapore 238486.
Collection hours are:

Monday to Friday: 9:30am-5:45pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9:30am-5:00pm
Open on Vesak Day: 9:30am-5:00pm

2) Cheque donations

Cheque to be made payable to the “Singapore Red Cross Society”.

Please indicate at the back of the cheque name of donor/organisation (if applicable), mailing address and contact numbersand “Red Cross Myanmar Cyclone.”

Cheques should then be sent to Singapore Red Cross, 15 Penang Lane, Singapore 238486.
Once the cheque/s are received, an official non-tax deductible receipt will be issued.

3) DBS I-Banking

Login to DBS I-Banking, Under Bill Payment, Select “Red Cross Myanmar Cyclone”
4) DBS ATM Transfer

Under “More Services”, Select “Credit Card/Bill Payment”, Select No “99” Other Corporation, Select No “13” Red Cross Myanmar Cyclone Nargis * from the billing corporation list
*Indicate your contact number as the Consumer Reference Number

5) UOB Personal Internet Banking

Login to UOB Personal Internet Banking, Under Bill Payment, Select “Pay Bills” on the left menu and “New Bill” on the main screen, Select “Red Cross Myanmar Cyclone” from the drop down menu of the payee corporations list
* Indicate your contact number as the Bill Reference Number

6) UOB Cheque Deposit Boxes

All contributions by cheque should be crossed and made payable to “Red Cross - Myanmar Relief Fund”.


7) UOB – Donation Tins (from 22 May)

UOB will have Singapore Red Cross donation tins placed at all UOB Branches. All contributions by cheque should be crossed and made payable to “Red Cross - Myanmar Relief Fund”
