I watched a bit of 综艺大哥大 on Friday and saw Jeff Chang on TV.
Whoa. Watching him singing his songs really brings on a feeling of nostalgia.

Then on Sunday, I caught a bit of the charity show, and saw Sky Wu singing on TV.
It was double WHOA as he sang the songs of yesteryears. He's aged but his voice is still as good as ever.

I is more of a Sky Wu person than a Jeff Chang person, if you ask me. Heh heh.
Listening to a song of long ago is like seeing your old friend or something. When you sees your old friend, you realises that time has passed and everything has changed, but there's that common something that both of you shared that will never ever change with time.
That's when both of you falls into deep silence, and look at each other, and just smile. You are different and the other party knows it, but you are still that someone from the past and the other party knows it, too. It's a strange and wonderful feeling.
A song will not be able to recognise you, but a song can bring back memories you had, memories that you never thought you own anymore until that song appears again and dishes out your memories.
Ah, the power of oldies. Please be patient to your parents next time when they put in their oldies collection CDs.
