Inspirational speaker Dr Wayne Dyer received his 64th birthday card from his kids. The front said, "Inside is a message from God." Pleased that they appreciated his work, he opened to read, "See you soon!"

I received this email sent to all staff members. The subject line screamed, "Statewide Severe Weather Drill- Wednesday." When I opened the message, it read "In the event of bad weather, the drill will be rescheduled to Friday."

Posted on the elevator at work is the usual warning sign: "In case of fire, do not use elevator." Scrawled in pen beneath it is this additional advice: "Use water."
