Was at Clarke Quay last night.
As I walked along the Singapore river, I wondered for the "n"th time how come the word "quay" is pronounced as "key"? And the answer came for the "n"th time too: because cannot possibly pronounce it as "kuay" ("chicken" in hokkien) mah. Wah liew, can you imagine? Clarke "Kuay". So misleading lor.
The fountains were splendid but my W550i, good in almost every aspect except in photo-taking, failed to capture the essence.
Wish upon a star. And a rather big star, too.
